This 14-year-old Canton Georgia kitchen was screaming for a makeover.
Original stained cabinets were sanded, primed, and painted with Sherwin Williams SW7562 Roman Column. New brushed nickel cabinet hardware was installed.
Original travertine backsplash was removed and replaced with new white 3”x12” subway tiles and gray epoxy grout.
We reworked the electrical to include receptacles with USB and USB-C charging ports for cell phones, tablets, and other personal electronics. Electrical in the raised bar was moved down to the lower wall of the island. Pendant light switch from the raised bar was moved next to the main kitchen light switch on the adjacent wall. Replaced three original pendant lights with new brushed nickel fixtures. Wired and installed adjustable LED task lighting under cabinets.
Replaced original double bowl sink with new single bowl stainless steel sink. Replaced original faucet with new Brushed Nickel Touch-less faucet.
Reconfigured and framed outdated upper-level bar on the kitchen island to create one large island with an additional overhang to accommodate breakfast stools.
We replaced old Baltic Brown Granite countertops with new Shadow Storm Quartzite.
Replaced original black appliances with new stainless steel appliances. For esthetic purposes, and to gain more room for large pots on the new KitchenAid gas cooktop, we replaced the microwave over the cooktop and added a Broan high-flow vent hood. Replaced original dishwasher with a new Bosch 800 series. We replaced the original double oven with a new GE Profile model. We installed a new Sharp Microwave Drawer.
